SLP Wisdom

What are you tolerating - and why? How could you eliminate some of these “tolerations” in order to have a better quality of life?

Examples - an itchy sweater, ill fitting jeans, needing a drink of water and pushing through and keeping working, getting an annoying notification or piece of spam (rather than unsubscribing), having your phone fall down on the floor of the car because you need a phone stand, having too many clothes crammed into your dresser drawer.

Self Care Challenge

What are your tolerations (paperwork on your desk, a messy garage, not having snacks prepped) and what is one thing you can do to help solve it?

Values for the Coming Year

The cohosts discuss the challenges of their 2019 and what was difficult (both personally and professionally), and how it’s helped them focus in on the year ahead.

Sarie discusses prioritizing time at home when she can be wired to put work first.

Sarah discusses balancing keeping the podcast positive while also being vulnerable about the hard stuff - and how that balance can be difficult to get just right.
